In 2001 I began my real estate journey with Bender Realty. Before becoming a realtor, I held management positions in the corporate and retail industries as well as co-owned a land surveying business with my husband. As a youngster, I actually began my career in customer service at the age of 13 behind the counter of my family's dry-cleaning business. Our family has always been in the business of serving others.
My interest in real estate developed while managing our surveying office throughout the 90's and early 2000's. When our kids were all in school, I made the move into full time real estate.I had worked closely with numerous builders and realtors as clients through the years and had caught the bug…I felt my experience in customer service and knowledge of the backside of real estate would be a great fit for the real estate world. Along with the experience I gained from the various positions I had held; I also have a B.S in Business/Marketing from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. While being involved in the local community for years, I have developed strong relationships with lenders, inspectors, contractors, local officials, title attorneys, surveyors, movers, and a wide range of other housing professionals. As a family we truly enjoy the beauty of our area and all it has to offer. We are UT Vol fans for all sports and can be found at every home football game in our seats in Neyland Stadium. No worries though...I have negotiated deals via text while cheering on our Vols! Go Big Orange!
